Retina Series LED panels integrate premium blackface LED pixels that deliver ultra-high contrast imagery natively. Offering a contrast ratio of 9,500:1, the HDR-friendly, vibrant colors offer exceptionally deep blacks and smooth gradients that enhance content-to-color accuracy. A low-profile compact pixel design reduces moire on-camera as the bespoke blackface LED pixels provide a native ultra high-contrast image that maintains optimal brightness while providing a non-reflective surface against external lighting sources.

A standard 7,680≥ Hz refresh performance with low-scan rates solution provides an exceptional, broadcast & film-ready, on-camera appearance that’s free of artifacts.It features a standard 7,680≥ Hz refresh rate ensuring fluid high-speed image movements. It is standard equipped with the flagship NovaStar A10S Pro or Brompton R2+ receiving card with 22Bit+ Image Processing, HDR10 4:4:4 / HLG Support for increased color accuracy as well as Ultra Low-Latency support down to ≤1 frame.

Functional Hardware

Retina series comes in a high-strength magnesium frame design that makes it lightweight while maintaining its durable structure. It features field-selectable convex/concave curving capabilities along with optional seamless 90-degree corners to provide dynamic flexibility for creative deployment in a variety of applications. Retina panels can be flown or ground-stacked effortlessly and are cross-compatible between panels for specific screen size requirements.

Retina Series front and rear are serviceable with magnetically attached LED modules for easy user-level service and maintenance. Direct connections between modules and internal components, free of flat ribbon cables, ensure high stability and low maintenance. A fully detachable, easy-swap power supply housing makes user-level serviceability quick and efficient guaranteeing minimal downtime. Integrated edge and corner protection protect LED pixels from damage for a true high-resolution, low-maintenance solution.

Intuitive Accessories

Safe & Ergonomic

Retina series can be flown or ground-supported utilizing intuitive rigging hardware that is designed for flexibility, ergonomics, and reducing its hardware footprint while being safe and cost-effective. DRB-R series rigging bars serve as both fly-bars for hanging from the truss and as ground stacking bases featuring an integrated D-ring for attaching truss hardware and adjustable feet to ensure the screen is level when ground stacking. Both of which can be retracted when not in use.
