DVS Introduces New-Generation Optic 500 Series LED Panels

The top-selling Optic series of 500x500mm indoor and outdoor LED panels receive an entirely new design that delivers enhanced stability, function and value for touring and install applications. The new Optic 500 series of panels come in a new modular design developed to provide an easier level of serviceability and enhanced functionality to video professionals installing LED walls on either a temporary or permanent basis.

The new Optic 500 series features 4 removable LED module sections directly connected to a PCB HUB board paired with a NovaStar A5S receiving card that eliminates the use of flat ribbon cables to provide a new level of stability, control, and performance. Internal components are integrated into the rear access cover to provide easy accessibility and serviceability without requiring screen disassembly. The Optic-3 maintains its front serviceability with magnetic modules. While Optic-3IP and Optic-4IP now feature easier access to the module screws for seamless swapping while maintaining an IP65 weatherproof rating.

Like its predecessors, the Optic-3, Optic-3IP, and Optic-4IP come standard with a 3,840≥ hz refresh rate. 16-bit grayscale is now standard across all models. The Optic-3 maintains its tried and true SMD2121 configuration. The Optic-3IP features improved high output SMD1921 LEDs to achieve a 5,000 NITS brightness rating. Optic-4IP features enlarged SMD2727 LEDs rated at 6,200 NITS, providing the greatest fill factor found in a streamlined 4.8mm panel. All 3 models are driven by a new UL-listed auto-switching power supply designed for power efficiency. Outdoor models receive new IP65-rated Seetronic PowerKON connectors.

To complement these exciting new features, the new Optic 500 series of panels maintain the same MSRP pricing as its predecessors to provide exceptional value with competitive advantages to prospective users.
